Paige with Caesar the No Drama Llama

Paige Barton founded Engagement Strategies of Oregon in 2024 to help protect what matters most: functional local government that serves everyone.

A Track Record of Winning for Working Families

As a labor representative, Paige became known for one thing: results. She built winning campaigns that combined grassroots pressure with compelling messaging—securing fair contracts and earning public support for Oregon's working families. Before that, as a prosecution legal assistant, Paige played a crucial role in holding felony offenders accountable and securing justice for crime victims. This work sharpened her attention to detail and gave her deep knowledge of Oregon's legal landscape.

Why Local Elections Matter Now More Than Ever

Most people don't think about local government until something goes wrong—a pothole stays unfilled, a budget spirals out of control, or essential services disappear. But here's the reality: in recent years, low-turnout local elections have opened the door to unqualified, ethically questionable, and hyperpartisan candidates. The results? Fiscal mismanagement. Expensive lawsuits. Core services that communities depend on—simply failing to deliver.

Finding Common Ground in Divided Times

Paige witnessed these troubling changes firsthand and decided to act. She began volunteering her strategic expertise to local campaigns that put community over chaos. Her secret weapon? Years of experience in interest-based negotiation taught her how to identify issues that unite rather than divide—building broad coalitions that transcend party labels and bring communities together around shared values.

Mission-Driven Strategy for Your Campaign

Engagement Strategies of Oregon exists to help candidates who are committed to competent, ethical governance—the kind that keeps our communities strong, safe, and thriving.
